A hundred bucks? You can source Trijicon’s low mount plus a $20 QD riser on Amazon for half and it will solidly and repeatably return to zero.

Do people really pay this much for a QD mount?

    • Joe

What QD riser mount can be had on Amazon that isn’t a Chinese POS?

      • David

Who cares where it comes from if it does the job? Lots of good televisions, android and iPhones come out of China. All kinds of options come up from Amazon search with QD riser. The one i got I’ve tested with 2 different red dots on 2 different guns. it mounts solidly, and will return to zero through multiple dismounts and mounts.

        • Joe

What $20 riser! I need a brand, part number or a link.

It doesn’t look QD to me. Looks like a big bolt on.

It is quicker to me compared to the factory mount.

$7 less than a LaRue, and NOT QD… What? I’m a Geissele fanboy, but I’m not getting their mounts, and I think the name is kind of stupid sounding… rather not have it plastered in bright white on the side of my gun.

I honestly don’t understand the fascination with having to have everything QD. I want my stuff on my rifle and I want it to stay there. If I want to move it onto something else, I have a Leatherman.

      • InfiniteGrim

True, but why pay QD prices then? Get the LaRue VFZ option for $20 less than the Geissele…. or the $50 Aero precision mount.

Really considering an MRO. This looks nice and simple, clean. Hopefully they offer it in true co-witness height. Not a fan of the lower 1/3.
