SHOT 2106 Day 1 has come to an end. Below are some pictures of Range Day and Day 1 of SHOT show. Some are humorous, some are neat.
Billet Rifle Systems had a Star Wars themed rifle. I saw a lot of people posing with it. Awesome Cerakote job!
In my opinion Realtree has the best booth of SHOT Show
Jacob Bynum, of Rifles Only, is a really nice guy! We had a 20 minute conversation about some products from Rifles Only. Jacob is a brilliant individual and an excellent marksman and instructor. He did cut his golden locks.
Ed Brown is offering a 9mm 1911 with a red dot. Nice pistol.
Towards the latter part of Range Day I walked over to the Glock booth. R. Lee Ermey was super chipper and an absolute pleasure to talk to. Amazing man. Great shot. Great American. Thank you Sir. It was a pleasure to meet you!
Apparently this is a thing. Camo lingerie.
Fix it sticks! Awesome accessory. I am going to be adding these to my gun bag.
SOG had a throwing knife setup at Range Day. It was fun watching the older gentlemen re-live their childhoods. Go back 50 years and I bet these old timers could sink everyone of those knives!
Instructor Zero was at the Glock booth during Range Day. Neat guy to talk to. Endless energy.
War Sport’s booth did not have the Chris Costa rifle. The representative would not elaborate on why they were not carrying it. Nice rifles overall.
Magpul’s booth was amazing as usual. Caylen Wokcik was a pleasure to talk to.
Iver Johnson is importing 1911’s from the Philippines and “treating them with their special coating.” When I asked the very rude rep if the “special coating” was Cerakote, she responded “yes” after a long pause.
Great Day Overall! Looking forward to Day 2.
