New Grand Power Pistols: K22S, K22 X-TRIM and CP380

    GP K22S

Eagle Imports will begin selling three new Grand Power pistols in 2016: the K22 X-TRIM, the K22S and the CP380.  Both the K22 X-TRIM and K22S pistols are chambered in .22 LR while the CP380 is chambered for the .380 ACP cartridge.

The K22 X-TRIM and K22S are modeled on the K100 centerfire cartridge pistol. Both have a fixed 5″ barrel and use a double-action/single-action trigger system. The guns have a steel slide and frame with polymer grip panels. Both guns use a frame mounted thumb safety.

    K22S

The difference in the two guns resides in the designed purpose. The K22S is intended to be a training version of the K100 while the K22 X-TRIM is intended to be a sport shooting pistol. The plain K22S has a plastic front sight and a drift adjustable rear sight. It has an 8″ overall length and weighs 24.5 ounces. The MSRP is $528.

Compare that to the K22 X-TRIM. This pistol uses a fiber optic front sight and an Elliason rear. The Slide has unique cuts that give it a more sporty appearance though adds some weight as compared to the standard K22S. Weight on this pistol is measured at a little more than 25 ounces. The MSRP is $788.

    CP380

The CP380 is a compact version of the company’s P380 handgun. It has a 3.3″ fixed barrel and holds 12 rounds in the magazine. It has a plastic front sight and drift adjustable steel rear. It tips the scales at 22.6 ounces and is 7″ long. The MSRP is $528.

Eagle Imports is the US-based importer of a number of brands that includes Grand Power, Bersa, MAC, Llama and more.
