CrossBreed Freedom Carry

    Crossbreed

CrossBreed Holsters announced the addition of a new carry rig to the company catalog. Called the Freedom Carry, it is an inside the waistband holster that uses a combination of materials including a leather backer and polymer shell.

CrossBreed Holsters designed this product to work in a variety of carry positions including the appendix position. A single belt clip holds the rig in place. While appendix carry is popular with many people, some folks like Larry Vickers have banned them from his training classes because he doesn’t want a student to shoot “themself in the genitals.”

The company advises the rig works well with both small and large pistols in the appendix position. Among the guns the holster can be made for include large pistols like the Glock 17 and the Beretta 92. Of course, small handguns are not left out and can have the Freedom Carry made for them as well.

CrossBreed Holsters allows further customization on these rigs to fit guns equipped with lasers, lights and red dot optics. Check the list of compatible fits on the company’s website.

CrossBreed Holsters celebrated its 10 year anniversary of being in the holster business earlier in 2015. The Freedom Carry is just one of the new products the company introduced this year. I expect we will see more in 2016.
