If you’ve ever hunted at night, or want to, you understand the need for good quality night vision. New from Firefield are three different pieces of night vision, each with a different feature to recommend. After all, you can never have too many toys, and when they do double duty as useful tools, it’s even better.

The new gear lineup is called the Spartan series and includes the Spartan 4×50 Night Vision Monocular, Spartan 3x42WP Night Vision Waterproof Monocular, and 1×24 Night Vision Goggles. Each of these has built-in infrared illumination and gives users Gen1 images. They’re made with ABS plastic, making them both lightweight and tough, and feature a variety of user-friendly options. Among those features is a 1/4 socket so you can mount your night vision on a tripod or head mount.

The Spartan 4×50 Night Vision Monocular has a range of 195 yards while the Spartan 3x42WP Night Vision Waterproof Monocular has a range of 165 yards. The Spartan 1×24 Night Vision Monocular, which is designed for surveillance, has an 87-yard range.

The company’s Marketing VP, Tim Hewitt, outlined the new night vision’s features: “Multi-coated optics decrease glare and improve light transmission to provide an excellent viewing experience while the compact and durable rubber armor body is small for easy carry, yet rugged enough to withstand heavy use in extreme conditions.” He also mentioned that they’re designed for a longer battery life; the Spartan series is listed as having 40-hour batteries.
