This is my “BBQ” gun setup; a CZ 75 Compact, a Wright leather works holster and belt and a felt Justin Hat (hello from Texas!).

The CZ 75 has hardwood CZ grips and has had every spring replaced by me with Cajun Gun works springs, I highly recommend them!

It’s not only pretty but it’s a shooter! This was my gift to myself for passing the CPA exam a couple years ago.

Nice looking gun, and great photo.

    Needs more Y-Man.

Thanks for posting it! It was actually my first time messing around with the camera I bought my wife, oddly enough it was kinda fun.

I love, love, love CZs especially the SAs. As I get older though the short (height wise) slide is bugging me more and more. Not alot to grab with not dry hands.

CZ pistols are my favorite. Mine need some CGW parts as well.

Pardon my ignorance but what is the advantage of replacing all the factory springs? (Assuming those springs are not causing a problem.)

      • AndyT

Does nothing to reliability but it smooths and lightens both the DA and SA pulls. Factory CZ’s don’t have a horrible trigger but there is room for improvement for sure.

Plus, as Tim Allen says “Modify everything!”

        • AC11

Ahh, gotcha. In my mind I was thinking you were replacing the factory springs with new springs of the same tension.

That is a fantastic looking rig. Nice classy design, wood metal and leather. It doesn’t get much better than that.

What’s the capacity of the full house 9mm CZ and the Compact CZ? I’ve never seen a picture of one, and it sure is a beautiful pistol.

    • The current magazine capacities are 16rds for the full-size and 14rds for the compact models.

        Thanks Daniel!!

          The P09 is 19+1 in 9mm!

Standard CZ 75 is 16, but you can get Mec-Gar 17 round flush mags. The SP-01 mags are 18 from the factory (but don’t fit flush) and have a 19 round capacity from Mec-Gar.

        Thanks! I appreciate the info!

  • Great setup! I love my CZ PO1. I need a holster like that.
