A Look at the DDI AK-47 with Iraqveteran8888

Destructive Device Industry, better known as DDI, has a new AK-47 out that’s making appearances in various locations online. One of the most popular is Iraqveteran8888’s video, which is shown below. The DDI AK-47 has a US-made milled receiver and a Green Mountain chrome-lined barrel, among other features. The AK-47 has been around for 75 years and has certainly maintained its popularity with time as a popular gun for everything from target shooting to hunting.

The receiver is stamped, as seen within the first 20 seconds of the video as well as stated in the video.

According to the Atlantic page, DDI has milled and stamped AK offerings. The milled rifle is listed as having a chrome lined barrel, while the stamped version has a “fenocited” barrel, bolt and a few other components (similar to nitrided). The version described in the above is one of the stamped, non-chrome lined rifles.

Same here. I have the same exact model as shown in the video. Had it for a few months now and enjoy shooting it more than my ARs. I had one issue with it right after I rec’d it. It would occasionally bump fire 2 rounds instead of one. Talked to the factory about it; they sent me a new Tapco trigger group with an understanding that I send the old one back. I replaced the trigger group and have had zero issues with it. The guys at DDI and the weapon are G2G!

At :38 either it’s the camera angle or that’s the worst barrel whip I’ve ever seen on an AK.
