Taofledermaus Tries Q-tips With Shotgun Slugs

Taofledermaus has done a few shotgun-related tests as of late on his Youtube channel, among them being this one, which shows the use of a Q-tip in an attempt to stabilize a shotgun slug. Take a guess at the results before watching this to the end.

My guess is that it does not make a difference in stabilizing the projectile.

Possible suggestion for Taofledermaus: ear wax slugs.

Obviously he needed wooden-handled sterile medical grade swabs.

Probably not recommended for cleaning ears.

Shoulda applied some Vicks to those swabs for a stabilizing vapor trail. The slug would breathe easier too.

  • Mark

I guess that it will hurt the performance rather than help it.

I always love watching his videos, but sometimes I wish they’d try some longer distances, especially when they want to see if something stabilizes or not.
