Strike Industries The “Link” between M-Lok and Keymod

1_6_25

Those who are in the market for a new rail system most likely debate whether to go with a Key-Mod rail or M-Lok system. With the new Strike Industries “Link” rail sections it doesn’t matter what you choose! This new product fits both rail types. Heck mix and match if you want it just makes the decision of which rail to purchase pretty irrelevant.

I have to admit Strike is always surprising me with new products that are at once useful and selling for a very reasonable price!

SI always seems to keep the innovation rolling.

  • Tyler McCommon

SI: Hah we can make money off both your systems!

  • thedonn007

Does it attach just as securly as M-LOK and KeyMod rail sections to their respective rail systems?

  • Cymond

There have been several designs for systems that connect to either rail. I hope more manufacturers adopt these systems for their direct connect accessories (instead of just picatinny sections).

  • Pranqster

its a good idea, but the best part of the keymod and mlok hand guards is the direct mount capability so that you don’t need a picatinny rail in the first place.

    • Jon Hammett

This is probably a Stage 1 product to affirmatively test their design in the public market place. Once they get them sold and see how they work over a wide variety of guns, rails, and people, they will probably try to create direct attach accessories.

Looking at it it might not be quite as good on Keymod rails as proper Keymod spec rail sections (or other accessories) would. It lacks the taper at the front section of the nut, which is designed to use the fastener torque to push the attachment against the back of the slot, which allows for a repeatable and secure attachment.

  • Andrew Hobby

Hey, is anybody working on a Keymod->Picatinny->MLok->Keymod adapter?

Because that’s the one I need for my sniper rifle.

  • Timothy Midgett

Now if they would sell just the fastener so you could retrofit your existing system specific accessories.

  • Kivaari

    Excellent idea. I need them.
