POTD: Zastava PAP M92 AK

M92pc1

This is a very nifty AK pistol sent in by gdogs. He wrote …

This is my PAP M92. It has …
* Stormwerkz rail
* Burris Fastfire on a AD QD mount
* Princeton Tec Switch Rail light
* IWC handstop
* Manticore Nightbrake
* RFT sling adapter

Has anyone used the Princeton Tec Switch Rail light ? It is very compact, but how powerful is it in practice?

    That looks nice, clean, and useful.

    The Switch Rail seems very similar to the MFT Torch Backup.
    10 lumens isn’t much, but remember that the classic AA Mini-Maglite has been estimated to peak at 5 lumens on fresh batteries. At only 22 grams (0.77 ounce), that’s extremely light weight. I think it’s meant as a backup/secondary light.

      It is. More of a nav/map light than anything. I can’t say anything though, I have a couple of the surefire helmet lights on hats and one on a rifle mount.

    You’ll have better luck finding this than a Sub2k Gen2… Or gen 1 for that matter. Probably for less unless you find that gold plated unicorn at the end of the rainbow as well. Heavier, but you’re getting a beefier caliber for your troubles.

    The only thing I don’t like about this … is there is only one photo.

    I couldn’t do that. I wouldn’t be able to resist putting a stock and a vertical grip on it.
    Sir, you have some discipline.
