SHTF Gear Glock 43 Holster and Mag Pouch

SHTF Gear recently released a new holster for the Glock 43. This IWB holster uses the fairly standard configuration of a leather backing with a Kydex holster mounted on top. Kevlar thread is used better secure the holster to the leather. The two metal belt clips can be moved up or down to raise or lower the holster to fit the user. The user can also specify leather loops for use rather than the metal clips.

A mag pouch is also available which adjust to fit just about any handgun magazine. One thing I like about the mag pouch is it mounts horizontally rather than vertically which makes concealment much easier.

Someone recommend me a good mag holder that is minimal in design able to hold 16 rnd 9mm size mag. I’d prefer horizontal but will consider vert as well. Or where I should look for good reviews of them?

I wish tfb had a forum.

    • This mag pouch will hold any pistol mag you can come up with. I put two 1911 mags in this one and then adjusted for one 1911 mag. The M&P mags fit well also.

The glock 43 is imo a little small to carry iwb, makes more sense in a pocket holster.

    • It’s just preference. I don’t know that there’s an advantage to either types of carry.

Just seems like a waste of money to me when you could buy a hybrid type of iwb holster to carry something larger that you couldn’t carry comfortably otherwise, say a fullsize 1911 or glock 19.

Been looking for a OWB double stack mag holster that looks similar to a leatherman. I’ve got a SneakyPete Plan B for my Bodyguard 380 but they don’t make anything like it for a full size mag

    • This one would work—

I’m gonna give ’em a shot anyway. Checking out now 😀

Decided to try both a double stack and a single stack mag holster from them. See if I like it for my Shield mags better than the SneakyPete shield mag holster.

They just came out with a new version that looks even more comfy than the cloak tuck 2!
