Command Arms Side Folding, Adjustable AK Stock Tube

CAA AK tube

Command Arms Accessories (CAA) is now selling a stock tube for stamped AK-pattern rifles. The tubes allow for the use of an M4-style adjustable buttstock. The polymer tube has six positions for adjusting length of pull.

CAA advises the tubes allow the stock to fold. Depending on how you set it up, the stocks can fold to the right or the left of the gun. The company used a large folding button to allow for easier manipulation under stress.

The tubes are currently available in only black. They have a suggested retail price of $124.99 and are backed by an “Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.”

Huh, it’s a lot like the CNC Warrior/Bonesteel folding adapter, only with a push-button and made of polymer.

Looks great except for the price.

    Doesn’t look bad…
    For the range…

      Obligatory, “Nyet… rifle is fine.”

It is interesting that this design allows you to install it to fold to either side, I guess. I don’t know why anyone would choose to fold on the side with the ejection port, but I’m all for modularity.

        Maybe because of optics?

If it doesn’t cover the ejection port, then lefties might like it more. It’s all preference on which you like.

I was talking about how it’s made of polymer. I’ve shattered things like that falling on rocks, let alone any other hard use applications.

    So, transformers?
