Winchester Repeating Arms announced the availability of the 20 gauge SXP pump shotguns. These are the same shotguns I talked about from the NASGW show in the fall of 2014.
One of the key features of these new guns is that they are built on a true 20-gauge receiver – not a 12 gauge receiver. This allows the gun to be smaller and lighter than its 12-gauge cousins.
Three different models have made it into production. They are the:
- Field – satin finished wood stock and forearm, matte black alloy receiver, 26″ and 28″ barrel lengths, MSRP $429.99
- Field Compact – same as the above, but with a shortened length of pull and barrel lengths in 24″, 26″ and 28″, same MSRP
- Black Shadow – black synthetic stock, textured surfaces for enhanced grip, 26″ and 28″ barrels, MSRP $399.99
