Kimber 2015 Summer Collection

Kimber announced today it’s summer collection of five new pistols. These pistols vary from a compact to full size 1911’s with engraving and other special features. In fact the “Diamond Ultra” is available in 45 acp of course but can also be ordered in 9mm.

This is one of the new 1911’s and it seems appropriate. This photo shows the special Texas edition. I’m sure the engraving is done by machine but I have to say it looks nice and well thought out. The ivory type grips are a nice touch as well.

The other pistols in this summer collection will be released in the coming summer months. Here is a taste of the new custom pistols. There will be more to follow as we get the details on each pistol. While rather unusual to release this many new pistols this time of year I’m glad to see a company doing this in what is normally a slow time of the year. We also have a sample of the Texas pistol ordered for review.
