American Built Arms is now selling something they call the AR Essential Kit. The parts package contains:

• Nickel-boron coated cam pin
• Chrome coated firing pin
• Firing pin retaining pin
• Ejector
• Ejector spring
• Ejector pin
• Extractor with attached extractor spring
• Extractor spring with insert
• Extractor axle
• Gas rings

All of the parts are designed to work with any standard AR-15/M-16 type rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. This kit is different from the previously announced Mission Critical Kit that was discussed on this site here. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price on the AR Essential Kit is $49.99.
