That. Is. Sweet! I would LOVE to do something like this, but currently my state doesn’t allow (man I hate using that word) NFA stuff. We’ll be lucky if we get suppressors passed this year.

  • Michael Acuna

That little baby stubby grip is so cute (^o^)

    • Ian Jordan

I’m glad I’m not the only one that saw it and had the same reaction my gf has when she see’s a kitty or puppy. OMG IT’S SO CUTE I JUST WANT TO HOLD IT AND LOVE IT!

      • Phil Hsueh

And hug it, and squeeze it, and call it George!

  • Taylor TX

That looks like one hell of a good time.

  • BearSlayer338

Pretty cool but,I would have went with .45 acp in a suppressed carbine.

  • Dracon1201

Very cool. Why didn’t you go with a .45 for a dedicated suppressor build? It’s easier to find subsonic, and harder hitting.

    • iksnilol

Maybe he has a pistol in 40 s&w?

Also, I don’t know how it is in the US but in Norway the .45 ACP is notoriously inaccurate.

      • mosinman

        inaccurate?

        • iksnilol

It’s a joke. The point is that .45 ACP is expensive, so after every shot people throw their head to the side to look where the case landed. Surprised there hasn’t been any .45 ACP related whiplash.

At least that’s what I have seen here where I am.

      • BearSlayer338

Are you buying the cheap stuff?

      • Dracon1201

In the US we have access to so many brands of ammo that I’m sure you could find something to work in the gun well.

        • iksnilol

Mechanically there’s nothing wrong with .45 ACP. It is just a joke poking fun at the price of it.

If you read my comment above it you will understand better.

          • Dracon1201

            Ah, I see.

    • hod0r

180 gr is the most common .40, is cheaper, quieter and has higher energy than 230 gr .45.

      • floppyscience

It doesn’t have more energy if you’re talking about a dedicated subsonic rifle.

      • Dracon1201

Not subsonic .40. Subsonic .40 has considerably less energy.

        • hod0r

False. The speed of sound at standard conditions is 1115 fps. 230 gr .45 ACP standard velocity from a 5″ barrel is around 850 fps. This rifle has a 3.75″ barrel, so velocity would be somewhat lower. To match the kinetic energy of 230 grains at 850 fps in a .40 S&W it takes 960 fps. Regular 180 gr .40 FMJ is typically around 1000 fps from 4″ barrels, thus it has higher energy, is still well below the speed of sound and is quieter.

I’m building something exactly like this! So I can shoot steel up close and shoot without bothering the neighbors (Except its in 9mm and I ran out of funds)

  • Anonymoose

Sweet. Never heard of this company before, but their Large Frame lower is something I’ve been looking for for a long time.

  • WV Cycling

Isn’t .40 S&W a bit pricy to be bang whizzing with in a carbine with stick mags?

    • AJ187

Not if your reloading, sir. For me the difference of loading 9, 40, 45 is the amount of grains of lead.

  • AJ187

These are fun lowers but expensive. My 9mm lower from DDLES runs great. Quarter Circle Ten is a legit group of people that won’t screw you out of your hard earned money.
