Henry Repeating Arms recently released their version of a Mare’s Leg chambered in .22 Magnum. What’s a Mare’s Leg you ask? It’s essentially a lever-action rifle with the barrel and stock chopped off. It was made popular by Steve McQueen’s character in the TV show Wanted: Dead or Alive. Woody Harrelson’s character also used one in the movie Zombieland.

Henry also has Mare’s Legs available in .45 Colt, .44 Magnum and .357 Magnum as well as .22LR and Magnum. Their centerfire offerings have a capacity of 5 rounds with their .22LR having a 10 round capacity. Their new .22 Magnum version holds 8 rounds and weights in at 4.45lbs with an overall length of 25 inches. They’re made in the USA and have a MSRP of $450 for the 22 Magnum version.
