Little Girl Rides A Belt Fed Machine Gun

This little girl is firing a belt fed machine gun and gets pushed back a little bit. Other than the lack of eye and ear protection it seems rather safe. Unlike other mishaps with young children operating automatic weapons, the weight of this machine gun keeps it pointed down range. As a friend pointed out, it would have been more safe if an adult was right behind her. Just in case something were to go awry.

Can anyone identify what language she is speaking? It kind of sounds like Turkish. Edit: Had a Turkish friend clarify that the little girl is not speaking Turkish.

    Adorable and deadly.

      Like a little turkish Ewok

  • claymore

    Probably Kurdish.

Let’s hope she’s wearing ear plugs. She doesn’t need to be going deaf before she reaches first grade.

When teaching small children to become martyrs for allah, it’s common to disregard the little things like ear and eye protection.

Children are better suited to crew served weapons than they are to other small arms. The semi-stationary characteristic of a mortar or heavy machine guns relies less on their physical strength and stamina and is a good tool for building teamwork.

That sounds like something Baldur von Schirach would say.

I’d say not properly aiming and firing at an upward angle can be put into the unsafe category as well.

    • Nicholas Chen

That is with the assumption that there is not an appropriate back stop.

      • ThomasD

I’m thinking the appropriate backstop here is the neighboring village that no one really likes.

When will the ‘Precious Moments’ figurine be available?

    This simply makes me sad.

Truer words never spoken. My daughter shoots, I’m obviously a firm believer in smiting evil, but the fact that little girls shooting machine guns is normal in some areas speaks volumes about how far we still have to go before we’re civilized.

      • MR

What makes me sad is that I didn’t have the forethought when I was her age, to get a fake ID and stock up on legal machine guns. I suppose the ATF might have caught the inconsistencies in the paperwork of a three foot tall “McLovin”, and denied the tax stamp. Oh well, always a catch.

Who knew Jihad could be so damn adorable?

    • MR

Oh, what? Because she’s brown?!?? ;P

    • Septic Skeptic

obviously your statement is born from pure ignorance.

These people are most probably the one’s fighting against those who are waging Jihad. The very fact that you have a young girl (female) handling this weapon, shows that these people do not adhere to the same strict gender roles that groups like ISIS and the Taliban are imposing upon the societies in which they operate.

      • Vhyrus

It was a joke. Lighten up Francis.

      • Daniel

Hey guess what?! STFU. It was a joke.

it seems you comment provoked a lot of booty hurt

  • Fruitbat44

Personally I think this looks like an accident looking for somewhere to happen. 🙁
Yes, there is a strong case for teaching children the basics of the responsible handling of weapons, but this doesn’t look like it to me. 🙁

Some little girls grow up riding ponies, while others make do with a PKM machine gun.

  • Tiru Maru

Has anyone sent this to Shannon Watts yet??? With any luck her pea brain will have an aneurysm seeing a child firing a automatic military evil rifle….

I’ll take “titles that belong in porn” for 500, Alex

  • Joe Snuffy

Dude, that’s an old video of my NCOIC’s kid out at Ft. Bliss in ’04! Yeah, she’s got earpro, and shooting upward at a mountain backstop. Dad is behind her just out of frame; he thought it was cute. My boss was local to El Paso, his wife made the best tortillas and guac. Good times.

  • ThomasD

Safer firearms handling than your average Arab wedding.

  • Peadair

Considering her apparent height, this is probably safer for her to fire, than those around her. She would be hard pressed to shoot herself.

  • moonstar

Definitely, she is not speaking Turkish. In Turkey, such a little girl can not use guns. It is impossible. It is illegal. She is an arab or Kurd may be, bacause I didn’t understand her language. But there is no order or law in Iraq, Syria…They are like Texas nowadays.

  • Raguel A’septem

Sounds more like a Kurd dialect than Turk or Arabic.
Aside from that, funny how Americans are so afraid of guns they would never allow a child this young to enjoy shooting. The PKM on a bipod is WAY more stable than a micro UZI which we witnessed the detrimental affects of allowing a youth to fire with a full mag (btw, NEVER let a kid fire more than 3-5 rounds in ANY automatic weapon until they display proficient control over that weapon!).

  • MrApple

I guess firearm safety rules be damned.

Prohably learning to defend her home against invading US forces.

Weapons are “Not Playthings”…..she thinks it’s a plaything, this is thoughtless!
