Massad Ayoob On The Glock 43

Massad Ayoob has taken a look at the Glock 43, over at Glock headquarters in Smyrna, Georgia:

    The takeaways:

    1. Full power 9mm +P.
    2. Low “pistol course” suitable recoil.
    3. Issued with 1 “shooting” extended floorplate magazine.
    4. Trigger reach adjusted “just right” for all finger lengths.
    5. No gun-related malfunctions; one ammunition malfunction, and one “human error” malfunciton

This is essentially a “laundry list” of features that folks have been hoping for with the Glock single stack 9mm handgun. In this author’s opinion, Glock has used their (considerable) time in developing this handgun wisely to create the best shooting 9mm single stack compact handgun they could, contingent on more extensive and well-documented reviews, of course.

Will this be enough to overtake the lead Smith & Wesson, Walther, and Kahr have over Glock in this category? Only time will tell!
