New Wilson Combat Camofluages

Expanding well past their ubiquitous 1911 line, Wilson Combat has released a new camouflage. Claimed to “blend well in many urban and rural environments.” the new pattern is base colors with the outline of foliage and dusted lighter colors. The new camouflage will be available in gray base, FDE base, and green base. It is now available on all Wilson’s produced firearms.

Description by Wilson:

The first thing you will notice about some of our new in stock rifles is our striking new Camouflage Armor-Tuff finish. This pattern was once only available on the Paul Howe model, but now is available as an upgrade to any rifle or shotgun build. This special finish has been developed to blend in well in many urban and rural environments. This exclusive hand-applied pattern reduces IR signature and also keeps the rifle cooler in high temperatures.

That’s pretty neat. Useless, but neat.

So well camouflaged you cant even tell it was done. Outstanding.

    I prefer other urban camo:

Wilson Combat has finally jumped on the “sprig of leaves & rattle can” camo movement.

Just wait till they discover glue guns 😉

It is a nice adddition to an already excellent rifle.

“Exclusive hand-applied” “Armor-Tuff finish”. I think that means they used Rust Oleum instead of Krylon.

Why does my post has those three extra lines???

TFB (or Disqus, not sure) tends to do strange things with copy-and-pastes.

      • superflex

Because the edit function is tough to use.

  • Vitsaus

Their new slogan is going to be “You’ll buy it because its Wilson.”

  • Don Ward

Wilson is quickly adding the “Pillage and Plunder” camo option to their lineup of offerings…

  • toms

For all the Wilson criticism they produce an excellent if not somewhat overpriced rifle.

  • WasThere

The camo worked so well for the LE community, they decided to bring it to the civilian market.

    My rifle was just here………….

the last one looks good, but the first two seem anemic.

I guess the shade provided keeps the guns cooler…

The first one is for people who can’t decide between a black rifle and a camouflaged one.
