At the 2015 SHOT Show, Hyskore had a number of shooting rests that had recently been introduced. One of them was the Dual Damper Shooting and Sighting Rest.

The new Dual Damper rest allows a shooter to lock a rifle into it. Dual pistons absorb the recoil impulse while the rifle slides backward on a rail. Once the recoil impulse has passed, the rifle can return to the original firing position.

According to the Hyskore staff I spoke with, the rest can handle rifle calibers up to and including .375 Holland & Holland Magnum. The rest is large enough to handle both bolt action and modern semi-automatic rifles.

The Hyskore rep advised the rest has a suggested retail price of $299.99.
