Who here carries absolutely everywhere? And I mean everywhere… I try my best to do so (obviously I’m not carrying at SHOT), but while exercising, I’ve never really found a solution that works for me. I’ve tried everything from belly bands to fanny packs (don’t say it) to ClipDraw (which I love and will discuss in another article) to the Hill People Gear Recon bag. The best I’ve had for running and hiking to date is the HPG Recon, but even that says “Hey, I may have something in this bag attached to my chest”. Concealed options have always been a challenge for me to find (I would like to think I had exhausted all available options).
Enter Pistol Wear.
For just under $50 you can have a comfortable holster (all of their models are under $50) that doesn’t print, is breathable and heat dissipating, and highly adjustable. The material is pretty soft to the touch. I haven’t run in one (yet) but I think this might the solution I have been seeking for awhile.
They have five main options (two are more for exercise, the other three are more for casual wear), and three colors (black, white, nude). The difference between the models is basically the size of weapon they hold. Some of the models are specific right- or left-handed, and all will accommodate a waist of 40″ (larger waists will need an extension they offer). Pistol Wear also offers a number of additional pouches to hold magazines and cellphones (yes it will stretch to fit the iPhone 6+).
