  • I’ll be visiting CZ next week. We’ll see if that stock is available.

  • USMC03Vet

HK going to get serious and show the vp9 in compact/carry models?

    Looking forward to FNS news.

I don’t think I’m alone when I say that it’s a deal breaker if there won’t be a stock kit available. The braces are hideous and, even if they can be folded, would completely alter the looks and functionality. Looks like the year of the PCC is looking more and more like vapor ware. Also, why are all the models being sold on Gunbroker 20rd’ers? Any known source for standard (30rd) mags?

I’m super interested in the $1k-$2k long range (24x+ magnification) FFP scopes. If you see a new product, please cover it!

  • No big deal BAC—-

  • BattleshipGrey

I’m kind of liking the fact that manufacturers are releasing some info of new products before SHOT.

    • Nobody saw that coming either. They are releasing more product info this year than the last three years put together.

      • BattleshipGrey

My guess is that it’s due to the vast majority of products being shown in such a short time that the press can’t cover it all, so it becomes a cluster with everyone saying “look at me!” all at the same time. This puts their new products on the map ahead of the competition. If it’s innovative enough, it almost demands more attention.

I know TFB and other gun news outlets do their best to cover SHOT, but it does seem like we usually only get a fraction of coverage compared to being there. Given the chaotic format of the show, I’m not surprised that it’s taken this long to work out efficient coverage and for manufacturers to adapt to the coverage. I’m looking forward to your upcoming coverage of SHOT.

so much for getting any work done then

  • Kevin Harron

Excited to follow your coverage as usual. Jealous of all of your staff, but particularly of Nathan F. Who better have some badass stories to tell on teamspeak when he gets back.

SHOT Show… it’s like Second Christmas!

EDIT: Only you just get pictures of the presents and can’t buy most of them. 🙁

  • Y-man

I was actually meant to be coming with the team for this, and it would have been a good, new perspective [An over-awed African with his jaw dragging on the floor in wonder!] but two things broke it…

    1. Work commitments mean my travel to the US is a little AFTER SHOT [I arrive on the 26th]

    2. If I had gone to SHOT, I would have become so miserable and depressed rather quickly! Walking around, seeing and touching all those glorious firearms and accessories that I may never get to even see or touch again! [Even if I can afford them!]

Oh, well… Its all good… I hope to enjoy some shooting when I come over!

    Best wishes, all!

  • We can sure try. It’s probably on the list I haven’t checked every one of them yet.

  • Arsenal, buddy ol’ pal, release some SLRs with a fixed stock. C’mon, you know you want to. Or a milled AK in 5.45 (that RPK doesn’t count).

  • Ratfink

    Cant wait for it
