Youtuber GarandThumb sent us a photo of his AAC MPW upper build. He wrote …

I had a spare spike’s lower laying in my gun safe that I’ve neglected for a long time. Finally took the time to complete the build with a AAC MPW 5.56 upper, which comes with a KAC URX 3.1 and Blackout 51T. In addition I have added a EOTech EXPS 2-2 and magpul BUIS. The BCM gunfighter stock was the only gamble as I’d never seen and or tried one before ordering it. However BCM has done it again and the stock feels excellent. It’s a fantastic rifle and will serve me well in competitions to come.

I’ve heard that the AAC MPW 9″ .300 is the most reliable blackout shorty on the market. I’d love to see TFB review one and let us know

I’d beleive that it’s reliabe with sub sonics and no can. But as a whole I have trouble believing it’s “better” than a Noveske blackout. Being able to run all “four modes” in the gun was important to AAC as I understand it (supersonic suppressed and not, subsonic suppressed and not).

Nice looking setup. Very similar to my last configuration. One big change I made was dumping the EOTech. Weight was the only issue I had with that.
