    That is some nice wood

That… That is very handsome. Damn. Another thing to budget for…

  • Rugers new slogan should be “57 varieties of 10/22”

What a beauty. I’ve long been wanting a takendown rifle, let alone a takedown 10/22, but the plastic stock was a put-off. This is what I WILL be buying. I’m such a sucker.

    Nice lookin’ rifle.

A while ago I almost built up a custom 10/22 from Shooters Discount with one of their “ultimate 10/22 actions”, Green Mountain bbl, and one of these lovely stocks:

Amega makes a scout type scope mount for the takedown. I know its off topic but I wonder if there is a receiver rail that would line up with the amega mount to keep things lined up and a place for the peep sight since the amega mount goes where the sight would be. Personal preference but I would like it if Impact Guns would bring back the multicam version.

Good. There were a lot of complaints during the 50th Anniversary contest that argued Ruger should produce a deluxe takedown model. Well, here ya go!

  • Fred Johnson

That is one beauty of a Ruger!

  • Brocus

I really don’t need it. So It’ll be down to price.

  • My only request is I want the sights from the other 50th anniversary edition, specifically the peep style sights, very similar to an M1 Carbine. This is an excellent model though. I really have eyes of an integrally suppressed 10/22 take down at local gun store, but can’t pull the trigger to spend that much change on a 22

These “takedown” rifles offered by Ruger are one of the biggest boondoggles in current gun culture. And this is in a world where “The Judge” is a thing.
