SWAT Exchange – Free Gear Exchange

SWAT Magazine is now hosting the SWAT Exchange, a free firearms and tactical-gear related buy, sell, & trade board. Setting itself apart from GunBroker and other boards, SWAT Exchange requires users to upload photographs of the actual items.

Also, the exchange includes plug-ins for easy sharing across social media, allowing posters to spread the word about sales faster and easier. Unlike forums, users do not have to sign up to browse and contact the seller.

For ease of navigation, shoppers are able to easily pick categories including but not limited to optics, gear, reloading supplies. The strongest categories are tactical gear, which has a plethora of gear from manufacturers including body armor.

    • Thank you, Scott. I’ll use that opportunity to make a mini-rant.

Guys, please, when you advertise about a website, please put a link to that website in the article itself.

It’s not because I’m lazy to make a quick google search, it’s just that it’s silly and bad form. It’s like you’re talking about this fantastic restaurant and detail all the amazing tasty things they offer, but you’re unable to give me the directions to drive there in the first place.

    – “requires users to upload photographs of the actual items.”
    – two very obvious stock photos in featured screenshot

That “Horrible back end craigslist” is one of a handful of cutting edge cross platform websites. You can use it on your computer, tablet or smartphone and not be bombarded with apps and downloads. Uploading listings and pictures direct from your mobile device is also supported. Sell on the spot.

You certainly can choose the area you live in. Simple, click the search function and then click “Advanced Search” . State, Zip, and Radius are all options. Easy How many more do you need?

Why would you expect not to get something shipped to you? Do you not order stuff off of the internet? Not everything is available at your local walmart

And why would people use Gunbroker when they can use this site for FREE?
No Fees, No Memberships, No Final Value

This site is destined for great things.

Won’t be surprised if it ends up as Armslist 2.0: scammers amok.

    • swat1

Scammers on every site in the world. Nothing new there.

Send me $200 cash money and I will send you $500 for your earned trust.

There’s a reason Armslist has more of them compared to gunbroker or internet forums like arfcom. You’re allowed to post ads without registering, nor is there a feedback system. Furthermore, moderation/administration on Armslist tends to be more passive when it comes to dealing with troublemakers.
