Custom Competition FNS-9mm

FNH USA had this customized FNS-9. They installed a Leupold Deltapoint, Leupold is one of the sponsors for Pro Team FN. They had the grip reduced and stippled. They also added a large compensator to an extended barrel.

Does it make sense to have the sight mounted on the slide?

    • J.J

Yes when the sight is light enough and strong enough.

    • stephen

It depends on how the operation of the operator.

    • Dan

To answer your question definitively….it’s classified

    • Nicholas Chen

I don’t see why not. My M&P9 CORE has a MRDS (mini red dot sight) on the slide. Shooters have been customizing pistols like that for a few years. S&W and FNH both have factory pistols that are milled from factory to accept MRDS on the slide. M&P obviously and the FNX-45 Tactical.

    • I see where you are coming from. I think I’d like to have one of the side-mounted ones that doesn’t bounce around with the slide. They look funkier, but it is less mass moving around for each round!

Did it had same crappy trigger?

Lets have more pistols with top rails for mounting mini red dots

So it’s a competition grade fantastic, plastic, blast-o-matic?

  • FourString

Now if only they could offer some of these improvements (with the muzzle break replaced by lower key porting) stock!
