Daniel Defense announced new DDM4 V11 rifles with a KeyMod handguard. The rifles use the company’s new SLiM RAIL, a 15″ handguard with a Picatinny rail on top and KeyMod attachment points along the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions. Like many of the existing KeyMod handguards, the SLiM RAIL is supposed to be lightweight and thin while providing excellent airflow around the barrel.
Rifles will be available with 16″ government, 16″ lightweight and 18″ Strength-toWeight (S2W) barrels. All of the barrels will have a 1:7″ twist. The 16″ government profile barrel model weighs 6.28 pounds and carries an MSRP of $1,599.
