NRA 2014: Real Avid AR-15 and Scraper Multi-Tools

If you are a gadget guy, these will fall directly in your belly-wicket. The AR-15 multi-tool is a recently released follow-on to Real Avid’s Golden-Bullseye-winning gun-tool from 2011. Specifically designed for modern-sporting rifles, the tool allows anyone to completely assemble an AR with a companion armorer’s wrench.

For those already equipped with multi-tools, Real Avid offers the scraper separately. DI guys will appreciate being able to remove carbon deposits off of Mil-Spec Phosphate covered bolts.

You can buy the tools from Midway and most other major firearms retail sites. Midway has them listed for $64.99

The scraper looks like the issue Combi Tool for our L85s minus the drill bit

    • Hunter57dor

Why does yours have a drill bit?

      • TM_2PWRR

It’s used to remove carbon build up from the gas port. Trick is to mark the gas port depth on the drill bit when first issued, that way when you come to clean it you know how far to go and how dirty your weapon really is.

65$ for something brass bristled brushes will do, with more weight…another useless tool…..when will people stop buying this crap…

    • I plan on buying one, because I want multitool for my competition range bag that can tear the rifle down to individual pins if needed to get me back up and running. I can’t afford to have two exactly configured competition rifles!

  • Joshua

People seriously scrape their AR-15’s? Only time I ever did that was for inspection purposes, Out in the field it was in no way needed.

  • Q

Belly wicket? Did you mean “bailiwick”?

    • guest

Yeah there is no such concept as “belly wicket.” Nathan you should correct that error.

  • NordicTikkaowner

You can’t be truly tactical without it..? That was the lamest shit ive heard in weeks…
