Magpul just announced their new updated MOE-K Grip is now shipping to dealers. Their new MOE-K Grip features a lower profile and more compact design compared to their MAD and MOE grips as well as most other pistol grips on the market. It has a more vertical shape making it optimal for personal defense weapons configurations (i.e. AR pistols and SBRs). According to Magpul it’s more comfortable to use with weapons where the shooters hand is held closer to their body or while using body armor. The updated MOE-K Grip also has a smaller circumference making it an excellent choice for those with smaller hands or who prefer slimmer styled grips. Magpul has also added their new aggressive TSP texture for improved grip. It’s made right here in the U.S.A and will MRSP for just $19.95. Check out Magpul.com for more info.

Did they change the design or something recently? I thought it’s been around for a while. I’ve had an MOE-K grip since around November 2013. It turns out the grip is TOO small for my average sized hand, though I liked the angle, so I bought a MOE-K2, which is a fatter grip and the same angle.

Looks the the only difference is the new, more aggressive texture.

I tried a MOE-K very briefly, but it was too small for even my smallish hands (I find men’s “medium” gloves to be a bit roomy). I haven’t tried the K2 yet, but really like the Umbrella Corp Grip-23.

I have the k-2 and large hands and I don’t find the fit a problem at all.

    Looks like the G-36 grip

I just installed my MOE-K. I love it. I think the only issue is that I have to fill that gap between the grip and the trigger guard. Some say it’s like an AK grip, but I agree with Liverwurst, I think it’s more based on HK style grips. The newer version has more aggressive texture for non-slip grip. It’s not overly aggressive though.
