Paper Firearms Genius

Paper 1911

Tacome1942 is a genius. He makes working replicas of firearms, out of paper by hand. The use of metal is unavoidable. He does use metal for extractors, springs, firing pins, and screws. Now when I say “working replicas” they don’t fire conventional bullets. The paper barrels can’t sustain that amount of pressure. So what does he use instead? He makes his own bullets using match heads instead of gun powder. So they are technically working firearms with projectiles.

He has made a MG42, 1911, Makarov, AK47, and a Winchester 1894 just to name a few.

Check out his page to see his creations.

Just check out this revolver trigger mechanism he made, out of paper.

Just spent 30 minutes on his Youtube channel. He has made SEVERAL impressive paper guns. The coolest part is they all function as their real world counterparts. They are truly works of art.

I loved his Makarov, this guy has some crazy skill.

This just comes to show that with enough time a “firearm” can be made out of “anything”

Watch out Obama to ban news papers they can be covertable in to a assault paper gun!

    As seen on TFB: http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/11/06/paper-beats-rock-scissors/

Yet more proff that you just cannot legislate against human ingenuity. He should get a kickstarter going to buy himself a lathe and mill, I would certainly chip in a few bucks!

Pretty neat, I wonder how he does it, I’ve seen some amazing work done using Pepkaura which involves creating paper models then covering them in Bondo so that they can be sanded to smooth out the models but these guns don’t look like they’re covered in Bondo so he probably isn’t using Pep.
