Crisis Intelligence Alpha-1 50W LED searchlight

Alpha-1

Japan’s Crisis Intelligence has made a monster of a search light. The Alpha-1. It looks like a small cannon with a FNH P90 style grip.

They boast this light is a 50w LED and on a two hour charge time it runs for an hour. To put that into perspective, my SureFire Hellfighter is rated at only 35w and puts out 3,000 lumens but it is not really portable or battery operated, unless you get a DIY battery solution.  Just like the Hellfighter, the Alpha-1 is designed to be vehicle mounted.

This video is silent, don’t ask me why.

Rails are a good idea… so you can attach a gun to your flashlight!
    😛

    • Kinda reverses things huh:-)

      • Matrix_3692

Cause mounting a tactical flashlight on a gun is too mainstream, let’s mount a tactical firearm on a flashlight. XD

    • bull

how about attaching a camera ? doesn’t sound THAT stupid 🙂

  • mechamaster

‘Personal Defense Searchlight’…Now everyone can attach flashlight on flashlight rail’

    • Vhyrus

Yo dawg, I heard you like flashlights…..

  • GuyWhoPostsBeforeHeReads

    Why is the video silent?

  • Ron Fox

They could have at least added lightsaber sound effects to the video. Otherwise it just looks like some guys driving around with a big flashlight.

Maybe some cops kicking in some doors and confronting bad guys with guns, then using this to blind them.

In all honesty maybe the video had that but it was so boring to watch i stopped at the 2 minute mark.

This video made me realize on thing though: being deaf would suck.

Speaking of adding a gun to a big ass flashlight. I did this just for laughs. Mounted a SCAR to my Hellfighter.

    • Giolli Joker

      Thumbs up!
(On a Browning M2 it does feel more at home)

    • Yep seen that before:-) I still can’t believe you bought that light!! Man that’s expensive!

      • Nicholas C

It wasnt that expensive. I only paid $500 for the Hellfighter.

    • 101nomad

Now, you are serious about “lighting them up”.

  • The Forty ‘Twa

I’m 99% sure this has been posted on here before. Anybody else think that too?

  • Colabox

This gives “light em up” a whole new meaning…

  • John Daniels

It’s like a Magpul PDR and a “tactical mug” had a baby.

    • noob

that must have been quite some party.

  • LCON

didn’t we have a into of this thing last year? I think I joked that it will be replacing scoped Crossbow for Long range Vampire hunting.

  • JT

Is this like the only thing the JSDF can fire without being fired upon? (Article 9)

  • Anon

Before I read this article I have this to say: HEY LOOK THE P90 FLASHLIGHT FOR VAMPIRE SLAYING!

  • BryanS

    Instant selective tanning.

  • 101nomad

Don’t have to shoot, just burn their eyes out.

  • 101nomad

I keep getting to the dog fight late. Just to find out somebody beat me to the comment I made. Sorry about that. I will start reading comments first.

  • Donkiekong

Umm… why are they driving around in the middle of the day with flash lights mounted to the top of hummer and apc.
