Man I hate those “freeloading” handguards…

    • Jack Morris

Always mooching off the gas block. What jerks.

          You misspelled 1% there.

    • Me too that’s why I got rid of it:-)

As an SPR style rifle, that is nice.

Knight’s FF-RAS is so last decade.

18 inch barrel! Shock, horror. Why so long? LOL.
Sorry, I just don’t understand the current obsession with pistol length AR barrels.

    • Jack Morris

I’m right there with ya. The 5.56 relies HEAVILY on velocity for it’s lethality. With those chopped down barrels, the cartridge loses far too much fps than I’m comfortable with.

Now if were talking about an SBR chambered in 300blk or even 9mm, I’d be cool with that.

      • AAC 9 inch barrel 300 Blackout/ Now this one is fun!

        • Jack Morris

Ooooooh, hell yeah it looks fun. I’d love to rock that with a nice can, but that would require a little more NFA forms than Im willing to fill out (or wait a year on)

          • Yea I really love this with a can. I was at Gunsite the first of December and we went through the shoot house with one of these with an AAC can. It was just way to much fun!!! They had to pry me away from this one!!!

I will be getting one soon, I’ve been very happy with Armalite products in the past (2 AR10s) and was in the market for a good 18″ upper. BCM was out and I honestly like the KAC from my time with the MK12, probably change out the muzzle device to something a bit more exotic (VG6) and give it a whirl.
