Something Different: The BCM Vert Grip

Shown is a first shot, an early run without texture, of the unnamed new vertical grip from BCM. There will be a picatinny and KeyMod slot version (shown). The grip uses a more comfortable shape for directly grasping when manipulating the firearm, rather than using a cylindrical shape. The grip also has a slightly forward angle to it, which has been preferential to the testers.

The grip locks in by rotating it to lock it in place, after unlocking the mechanism, a couple of turns and it is secured. To really appreciate the ease of attachment you need to see it in action.

One of the most useful (and hopefully affordable) things I have seen come out of shot show

    • Shawn

Any idea when this is actually coming out?

  • Clint Notestine

looks like a short MOE grip

  • gunslinger

that’s actually pretty neat. better than a full forward grip?

    what’s the cost?

    • Cost and ETA are unknown, but I do know a longer version will also be offered.

Ugh…this is like the eighth or ninth thing to come out of Shot Show that I JUST (as in less than two weeks ago) bought an alternate to. “Oh, SIG is never going to come out with that damn MPX, I’ll just buy an MP5 clone”…BOOM. MPX for civilians. “I suppose I’ll just buy a keymod section to attach this cool new vert grip, since Bravo Company won’t release a keymod version. They did just come out with this one after all. Why would they wait?”…BOOM. Keymod grip.

I guess the moral of this story is “don’t shop before SHOT”.

I second this. It’s like buying a new ipod when you know Apple is having a convention the very next day.

  • Tyson chandler

This reminds me of the “reverse dong” grips I have seen on some AK’s.
