Quik Stand – Portable Target Stand Bases

Range Systems announced the introduction of a target base stand called the Quik Stand.  The Quik Stand is a portable set of bases that allow the user to slide 1x2s or 2x2s of any length through them to assemble a complete stand.  The bases have thumb screws to secure everything together.

I’ve spoken with firearms instructors who conduct training on private land.  Oftentimes, the instructor will have to spend a few hours constructing target stands for a class.  These stands would greatly reduce the amount of time needed to set up an informal range for a class or just some target practice.

MSRP is $29.99 for a pair.

shouldn’t an instrudctor already have stands created? and if not for “training classes” but for personal use?

and you’ll still need to cut/prep the wood. So i guess this saves you a few minutes by not having to bring out the screw gun or hammer/nails.

but 15 bucks for the reusable hardware doesn’t seem bad for 1 stands. (yes you buy two at 30 total)

Is that a life size picture of James Yeager on the target?

It’s amazing what a few pieces of PVC and some joints will do to make target stands.

Or you could go with something like the BEAST stand, which is far more compact, and goes together with a couple of quick pins, rather than have to have a bunch of extra 1x2s to construct your stands. All steel, lifetime warranty.
