    • rjackparis

No need!?!?!?! are you kidding me?

it shoots a beam for 1.2 miles.

you could use it for home defense. you could Melt or Blind any home invader.

      • Vincent

        And yourself, for that matter.

        • rjackparis

          details, details.

        • Jeremy Star

You just have to put on your Men In Black sunglasses first.

      • http://www.thefirearmblog.com/ Phil W “Senior Writer TFB”

        More like a phaser!

  • Gunhead

Is this team led by Shirow Masamune?

    • Avery

Probably not, Magpul headhunted him years ago for the PDR :-P

      • ArcRoyale

Right after he got done designing the f2000.

  • Joe Schmoe

Why does it have a gun scope instead of a spotting scope mounted?

    • insertjjs

At 2 klicks, have a dumbass looking your way, center his face in the crosshairs and bam blind dumbass!

    • Eugene

For use as a signal lamp?

      • http://www.thefirearmblog.com/ Phil W “Senior Writer TFB”

More to use in rescue work, firemen, police etc.

  • Anon

    My new EDC flashlight.

  • Nishi Drew

So, how many lumens is that?

    • gunslinger

was just going to ask that

      • rjackparis

        sure fire hell fighter.

      • http://www.thefirearmblog.com/ Phil W “Senior Writer TFB”

I wish I knew but’s there is zero information I could find

    • http://www.thefirearmblog.com/ Phil W “Senior Writer TFB”

3000 lumens and now sit down before you read this price. This Surefire light cost $5,100!!!!!

  • LCON

Finally I can replace my automatic crossbow for long range vampire hunting.

  • TG13

    i want one..

    • Jeremy Star

      Me too!

  • Frank J

You can use it as a ram and flash the person once the door open. A well non-lethal approach!

  • Daniel Alan

must be the must have flashlight were you cannot own guns, wtf do need a scope for? does this light shine over one mile??? i doubt it

    • Eugene

I’m pretty sure the 2km range of this thing is over one mile..

  • wetcorps

2km? Can you set things on fire with it at close range? :D

  • Gregor

If I would own a house, I would consider a mortgage, just to buy this thing. A PEQ15 would be a nice add on…

  • BryanS

    Ive seen more practical:

    • http://www.thefirearmblog.com/ Phil W “Senior Writer TFB”

Bryan you have to much money. You need to send that setup to me:-)

      • BryanS

That’s senor Chen’s (who’s done an article or 2 for TFB before).

        • http://www.thefirearmblog.com/ Phil W “Senior Writer TFB”

Yep he’s a friend of mine even before TFB.
He certainly has some fine guns and well other goodies.

  • Michael

    Perfect for Batman…

  • i wonder…

first person who reads this blog to get one REALLY needs to put a ask to put a video up of him or herself melting/burning stuff with it…

    • i wounder…

I apologize for my TERRIBLE grammar there. What I meant was ” the first person who is a TFB fan to get one of these needs to ask the blog to put up a video of him/herself burning, melting, and or incinerating things with it.”

  • Lance

A scope with this flash light…. LOL

  • CaptainSlaughterboard

“Team Japan” looks like not a company name…
I think there is logo “JAPANCELL Co. Ltd.” below scope.

  • Vladimir K

No lumens listed, more important – no candela listed. Pretty much sure it’s either a recoil or convex lens flashlight in big bulky housing.
PS: LiFePo4 battery technology is out of date, NCM would double the runtime.

    • http://www.thefirearmblog.com/ Phil W “Senior Writer TFB”

They don’t list the lumens we’re out of luck as well

  • Masoo2

This reminds me of the PDW-57 from COD BLOPS 2 (Sorry for the reference :D)

  • Leonardo Padrino

How many rails would you possibly need for a spotlight?!

  • http://twitter.com/Wielsucker Wielsucker

    Lumens? = Sufficient

  • JT

This is the only weapon their constitution allows them to have

  • Roland_1911

Okay maybe I’m not the brightest bulb in the world, no pun intended, but what purpose is a shoulder mounted flashlight that weighs 8 pounds used for?

  • Raoul O’Shaugnessy

Looks more like a cross between a P90 and an AT-4

  • Victor

What the hell is this for? Killing vampires?

    • http://www.thefirearmblog.com/ Phil W “Senior Writer TFB”

Police work, Firemen, rescue workers, military and on and on.

  • Axel

Holding that like a p90 would be awfully cumbersome, don’t you think? The flashlight would be awfully top-heavy. I would prefer a chainsaw set of grips.

  • Zach

Holy crap this is what John Clark and Ding Chavez used to take down the AWACS in Debt of Honor.

  • Doopington

If you put a magnifying glass in front of it, could you play Death Star with green army men?

  • Leigh Rich

    WHY?

  • Slash3

Here’s some more information on it. 8,000 lumens.
