I.O. Inc. Relocates to Florida

    I.O. Inc. announced the company relocated to Palm Bay, Florida. I.O. stated in a press release that the moved was prompted by “a need for an increased manufacturing facility” and “room for an increased customer service department and additional space for a complete barrel production line.” Prior to the move, I.O. Inc. was based in Monroe, North Carolina.

    I.O. Inc. stated in the press release that the expansion will allow them to “launch several new products like milled AR-15 lowers and the new Commander Size 1911 Venom 45ACP.”

    Palm Bay is located on Florida’s east coast, and is just south of Cape Canavaral. This area of Florida is known to be rich with engineering talent and state-of-the-art manufacturing businesses. Kel-Tec, Diamondback Firearms and Knight’s Armament are just three of the firearms-related businesses in the area.
