Apex ESA: Enhanced Stabilization Attachment

Apex ESA

Apex Tactical Specialties will ship a new muzzle brake in August that is designed for competition shooters.  Apex claims the Enhanced Stabilization Attachment, or ESA, reduces recoil and muzzle rise to the extent that it “…leaves shooters speechless.”

The 2.2 ounce ESA is 2.6″ long and 0.75″ in diameter.  It is designed for AR-15 type rifles chambered for the 5.56 or .223 rounds.  It is finished in black Melonite.

The ESA is different than the Square Shooter reported on in June.  MSRP is $59.95.  Apex expects to ship the ESA on August 6.

    sideblast will not make friends…LOL
but looks very effective, I’d like to try one sometime and compare it.

  • Leoon

um, looks identical to much of whats already on the competitive market just longer

  • Old Goat Patrol

Looks like a monocore for a suppressor. Like an AMD65 AK muzzle brake.Take it a home center a find a piece of conduit to fit over. Shoot .22s.

I found, on a popular online shopping website, an oil filter adapter for “catching cleaning solvent” that slips over the muzzle of a barrel, and secures with a set screw.

If you were going to make an illegal suppressor (and you shouldn’t), there are cheaper and easier ways.
