Barnes Commemorative Coins

Barnes coins

Barnes is now selling an all-copper commemorative coin.  The coins are minted from recycled copper from the company’s bullet manufacturing processes and feature the company logo, United States flag and the words “Don’t tread on me.”  According to the Barnes website, the coin “declares [the company’s] stance on recent infringements of our Second Amendment rights.”

The coins are one Troy ounce in mass and made of 99.999% pure copper.  The coins are selling for $3 each through the Barnes site.

That is awsome I think I may just have to get me one. I’m a class 3 copper fetishist so this makes me a tad hot under the collar.

Hmmm, copper is in short supply these days along with ammuntion components. But hey, let’s make trinkets instead. Good call!

  • Mystick

Copper is currently selling for about $3 a POUND, making this a horrible investment.

    Less trinkets more ammo production!

Y’all are idiots. This is in response to the ATF deciding that they’re manufacturing ‘armor piercing bullets’ and shutting down portions of their production due to this.
