About the LH9 Series

The highlight of the LH9 Series is undoubtedly our unique Double Action Plus+ (DA+) system.  DA+ gives shooters the benefits of both Single-Action and Double-Action: it delivers the speed and accuracy of a light Single-Action trigger pull force, which is bolstered by the safety of Double-Action trigger pull length. By allowing the shooter to enjoy an even trigger pull in both Single-Action and DA+, quick, first shot accuracy can be achieved. (Learn more about it here:

Manufactured using forged components, finished in Cerakote, and treated with Froglube, the LH9 Series offers  premium features at affordable prices.  These exceptional features come standard in all LH9 Series firearms. (Learn more here:

Why Novak sights?

In our desire to offer our customers only the very best, we conducted extensive testing and evaluation, and ultimately chose Novak sights for their speed and accuracy. Widely regarded as the finest combat sights in the world, the concave shape of the rear Novak sight drives your focus to the front sight, which aids in faster target acquisition with more accurate hits.

Under Novak’s recommendation we adopted the plain black wide-notch rear sight with a single white dot front sight as our standard configuration. With plain black rear sights, the shooter does not focus on the rear sight but will instead focus on the front sight, which is key to accurate shooting.  In this way the single white dot front sight avoids the confusion often caused by traditional 3 dot sights.

We will also offer aftermarket fiber optic, and big dot tritium night sights with Trijicon tritium inserts. Many other variations, such as brass and gold bead, are available through Novak’s.

We’re confident that the Novak addition to the Lionheart LH9 Series will only enhance what we believe to be the best pistols on the market today.  We invite you to talk to us on our Facebook page at and visit for more.

I personally have never been a fan of the DA/SA trigger. My Smith revolvers required some Performance Center work before they felt “right.” I hope this trigger system works as well as they say it does. Glad to see a lesser known brand doing what the big boys should have been doing all along. Putting a decent trigger in a semi auto pistol.

    • We’ll be posting a review of this pistol fairly soon. We’ll let you know how it works out. I’m also getting one for testing so I can better answer readers questions and comments.

I used to have my S&W revolvers triggers tuned as well. Someone who knows what they’re doing can make a trigger pull that’s just beyond words!

    Daewoo dp51 & dp51C upgraded

    • Pretty much so yes. This new pistol has hand fitting for the slide to frame fit as well as the internals. Of course the Cerakote finish.

  • Thomas Gomez

Nice pistol. I can appreciate the SA/DA aspect. Looking forward to the review.

    • I’m curious about it as well. If the trigger is as good as advertised I’ll have to think about hanging on to the one coming my way.
By the way S&W model 59 mags fit the gun as well. In fact the compact model will use S&W 59 compact mags.

How are the 20 round mec-gars in them? 😀 Don’t remember if you answered that yet lol

        • It they are made for a S&W 59 then they should work fine. I’ll have to dig around and see if I have one of those mags laying around.

    GGRRRRRR….External trigger bar….

    • dp

Right, that sounds like NO-NO to me from point of principle. This just calls for trouble once fine grit gets between. Back to drawing board – took at P38.

  • FourString

Hmmm. I kinda want the railed, Novak-sight version one now.

    • The railed version with Novaks is available now. Standard sight is all black rear with the wide notch and a white dot front or if you want a brass or gold front sight insert.

  • ChuckyTee

    Nice advertising we have here.

  • Robin Cariveau

Just got the LH9. We had a blast at the range with this gun Performed flawlessly. My husband and sons liked it more than my .40! I know the neighbors and one of my nephews are giving it a hard look as their next acquisition.

Enticing looking pistol – like PIped Hi-power kind of thing. Any REAL innovation, part of mentioned sights? Oh yes, the name sounds astounding, true.
