Breaking News: German Sport Guns (GSG) purchased by SIG SAUER Parent Company

A controlling stake in German Sport Guns GmbH (GSG) has been purchased by the L&O Group which owns a number of gun manufactures, most notably SIG SAUER, but also smaller European gun makers such as Blaser, Mauser, J.P. Sauer & Sohn and John Rigby.

GSG has been supplying guns to SIG SAUR USA for a number of years. The SIG 1911-22 is the same gun as the GSG 1911 but with SIG branding. The L&O Group have said that GSG will soon start also producing guns with Blaser, Mauser and J.P. Sauer & Sohn branding.

German Sport Guns’ sales focus will remain on the US market where there is a significant growth in demand.
