The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Steven Spielberg will be directing a movie adaptation of Chris Kyle’s autobiography that will star Bradley Cooper …

Steven Spielberg has found his next directing project: an adaptation of American Sniper, the autobiography of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, which is set up at Warner Bros.

Bradley Cooper is attached to star and has been developing the project as a producer.

A first-quarter 2014 start date is being targeted.

I hope Spielberg and Cooper do justice to the memory of Chris Kyle.
