Crossbreed Holsters partnered with trainer Rob Pincus to introduce a new modular belly band holster system for concealed carry. The new system uses a wide elastic band, which is typcial for belly band style holsters. However, the band has a wide strip of Velcro to which the wearer can attach a kydex holster.
The kydex holster may lose a little concealability, but gives the wearer a consistant position and draw. As with any concealed carry holster, it is a balance of competing interests and what may work well for one person may not work as well for the next guy.
The belly band also includes two sewn pouches for extra magazines and a larger sewn pouch for an item like handcuffs. A rig like this might be great for wearing when exercising or jogging. Instead of two mags and a pair of handcuffs, one might carry one magazine, a flashlight and a cell phone.
The modular belly band system is made in the USA and pricing starts at $54.95.
