Poland’s BRS-99

Polish arms manufacturer Fabryka Broni Łucznik (FB), a division of the Bumar Group, had their sub-carbine on display at SHOT. The BRS-99 is the semi-auto variant of the current issue Polish SMG line.

The gentleman working the booth [shown below] replied to my question, importation to the USA civilian market is in the works. However he anticipated a pistol version would be available before a legal rifle version with a 16″ barrel. Either version, a solid release date wasn’t to be had. The BRS-99 Tactical is already offered to civilians in Canada for $1,699.99 local currency.

Note the BRS-99 Tactical model demonstrated below has a straight-deploying stock as opposed to the original canted stock of the sample above. The first two images shown are of the BRS-99, a semi-auto version of the PM-84P Glauberyt. The last photo is of the BRS-99 Tactical which is a semi-auto variant of the PM-06, which itself is essentially a PM-84P Glauberyt with a rail mounted on it. All firearms mentioned are chambered in 9x19mm.
