FX Verminator Extreme: A suitcase air rifle and crossbow

One of the fun things about SHOT Show is seeing some very unique weapons. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen anything like the Swedish FX Verminator Extreme air gun.

Shown here is the FX Verminator with the arrow barrel, along with an arrow attached.

It’s a convertible air rifle and arrow thrower, where the pellet barrel quickly unscrews for an arrow barrel. They are marketing the arrow component for small to medium size game.

In about 10-12 seconds, you can unscrew one barrel and install a pellet one, so it looks like this:

Shown is the 500mm barrel. A 300mm barrel is another option.

The whole package fits into a normal size suitcase.

Shown are the hard case which holds arrows, a pellet magazine, two barrels, the receiver, the air cylinder, a "shroud extension" which serves as a suppressor, and two scopes, one for use with pellets, the other for arrows.

The FX Verminator is targeting a Spring 2013 release, and can be purchased through Arms of Arizona, who is the importer and distributor in the United States.
