ATI HD ARcane AR-15 in .300 Blackout

American Tactical Imports are now selling a .300 BLK AAC chambered rifle …

From the press release …

ATI’s ARcane Blackout, chambered in .300 AAC, will be available as a 16” carbine and an NFA restricted 10.5” SBR. Both models will feature a nitrocarb barrel with 1/7 RH twist and mil-spec 7075-T6 forged upper and lower receivers. This rifle will also have a mil-spec Carpenter 158 bolt/8620 carrier, Head Down 9” Provectus free float rail and low profile carbine length gas system. The ARcane Blackout has a Head Down PVX muzzle brake with 5/8 x 24 thread, a commercial spec M4 collapsible stock and type III hard coat anodized finish.

Benefits of the .300 AAC Blackout round include more muzzle energy than 5.56 NATO, availability of supersonic and subsonic ammunition, and no changes to the weapon required when switching from subsonic to supersonic ammo. In addition, the larger bullet provides more damage to the target, and it’s easy to reload with commonly available 5.56mm brass.

The ARcane .300 Blackout has an MSRP of $999.00 and comes with a 30 round polymer magazine and hard case. It will be on display at the 2013 SHOT Show in Las Vegas in ATI’s booth #16538. Come out and see it first hand!

That rail is easily spotted as a knockoff KAC URX 3, which I won’t really complain much about considering KAC was charging $235 just for their barrel nut tool alone up until it recently dropped a little bit. Karma I think. Still, a knockoff is a knockoff.

That barrel looks longer than 16″.

    • Supersonic

Actually it looks a lot more like a Samson Evolution to me….

  • John Doe

It looks like a well priced rifle, but that barrel is at least 18″.

    • Partizan1942

depends where you count it from 😉

    • bbmg

A shame when one of the blackout’s selling points seems to be its efficiency in a short barrel.

      • FormerSFMedic

Obviously they stated that they’re doing 10.5″ carbines and 16″ is the standard barrel length for 300BLK. So, it seems everything is in order.

  • gunslinger

i want to shoot a blackout rifle. don’t know anybody around me that has them.

  • Lance

Another AR that can take a suppressor and is .300 BLK. Nothing really new.

  • Mike Knox

Oh gee, another AR in .300 blackout. This is starting to get old..

    • Supersonic

If you don’t like it, then build you own! I am sick and tired of spoiled gun nuts who get ticked off that someone didn’t reinvent the wheel every time they make release a new product. Start your own company and stop complaining.

      • Mike Knox

Oh waah, somone offends your favourite calibre, boo-hoo.

If your not familliar with modern market trends, its better to have a product with options rather than a product centred on just one option. A lot of ARs already have this calibres as an option or just component kits for it..

      • Supersonic

Mike: I have zero bias towards the .300 BLK, but I’m putting my foot down that someone has a hissy fit if some new rifle isn’t available in 10 different barrel lengths and 5 different calibers. When it’s being shot, how many barrel lengths or calibers is it using? 1 and 1. People need to shut up and take up the offer.

      • Mike Knox

Sounds like you’re a least bit offended though and trying to peg a sale on this rifle. Just about any major manufacturer can fabricate a barrel in this calibre at any length. Hell, anyone with the tools can. How hard is it to buy a barrel set and bolt? Easier and costs less than getting a whole new rifle.

And is you’re still prissy about it, I’m being sarcastic from the start. You may be just over reacting..

      • Supersonic

Like I said, if you don’t like it then build your own. Someone worked hard on that rifle, regardless of what you say.

      • Mike Knox

Well believe it or not, it’s easy building an AR. In fact it costs a lot less assembling your own than buying a new one..

      • Supersonic

Then stop complaining and make your parts gun, this company is clearly too low-brow for you.

      • Mike Knox

Well, so far you’re the one complaining, I’m just jeering..

      • Supersonic

How quickly some people forget the origin of conflict. Get a life man, I’m done arguing with a nitwit who I hope for the sake of his mental health is a troll.

      • Mike Knox

It’s unsurprising how internet urchins say that when their denial expends their wits..

  • W

    a budget 300 black perhaps?

    good deal

I wish a biblical flood of guns to the american people
