Hunt Brothers Pizza of Nashville, TN have new hunting themed Pizza boxes featuring Realtree camo on the front and targets printed on the back so you can take the boxes to the range and pump ‘em full of lead.

I am going to have to make a stop there next time I am in Nashville.

    Recycling at it’s best!

    • Máté

Just be sure, to use guns above 2 round capacity, so you can recycle, while you recycle.

That is very cool! Good not to have to use magic marker on your old pizza boxes to make targets. FPS own that pizza joint?

  • gunslinger

    interesting idea.

Have to admit, this idea impresses the hell out of me. Never underestimate American ingenuity. I would like it if more companies did this.

If it was Papa Johns I would say leave the pizza in the box.
That stuff is a crime against cuisine.

    I like it!

I happen to be related (by marriage) to the folks who own this company. They have locations all across America. It’s mostly gas stations.

Yep, I was going to reply that same info (minus the relationship by marriage info) myself…going to have to find a gas station and see if they have them in stock just for shite and giggles. Generally fairly good pizza, especially as a quick lunch to grab a chunk (2 slices) ready to go when you get gas while on the road…

Good way to get full then get some fun shooting in too.

Neat, though a lot of imaginative peeps make more creative target images out of just about any packaging graphics. I used to write out the words on medical boxes with a 10/22 as a kid..

  • Idea Man

You know, this is the kind of thing that should be encouraged by ammunition manufacturers, along with other targets that would be fun to shoot.

How much could it cost to put up gongs at 400 yards, maybe with different tones and ranges, to make a fun way to play your favorite song, and burn up lots of ammunition. I bet that the increase in sales (and the customer goodwill) would more than offset the cost of the hardware.

I do not know… Maybe it is just the Woody Allen in me but if I had to deliver these pizzas it would probably cross my mind a few times during the process that before the customer gets the box from me and pays for the pizza, carrying it quite literally makes me a moving target. And of course moving targets are always more fun to shoot at than stationary ones…

Another comparison came to mind with piñatas but I’ll leave it up to your imagination.

To sum it up: If I was taking these to people I would want to get a huge raise.
    :)

Try not holding up the side with the targets.

        nem vagyok pizzafutár

I have always used pizzia boxes for backer boards to hold my targets, this makes it more convienent. Hope the pizzia is as good as the box and wish them success.

  • Saburo

Awesome! Chalk it up to good ‘ol American ingenuity. Love the fact it combines two of my favorite pastimes…Pizza and Shootin’! YeeHaa, lets have a “pizza and shootin'” party.

    • Rock ThisTown

Add beer & you’ve got yourself an unbeatable food-beer-shoot-tastic party!

Pizza and targets two for one price, it’s a money saver great.
