This is the most generic looking “Tactical” shotgun I’ve ever seen.

  • david

A receiver-mounted safety and a pistol grip is an awful combination. Must have been dreamed up by someone who never shot one.

    • Kyle

It’s almost as bad as pistol grips on mossbergs with the tang mounted safety. a push button is workable with a pistol grip, but a tang mounted safety and a tang mounted safety, it’s pants-on-head

    1993 wants its shotgun back

i thought pistol grips on shotguns weren’t useful?

and how is this different than aftermarket options?

    • W

they arent worth a damn, but boy they look cool and regular stocks just arent “tactical” enough (even though they’re a worlds difference better)

    • Phil White

Pistol grips on the front or back are a hindrance to handling and safety manipulation.
I guess I’m old school but I prefer a standard stock and foregrip.

  • Samopal

Lew Horton should stick to revolver exclusives.

  • Slapping readily available furniture on a firearm does not an “exclusive” make.

I don’t understand why people would pay $600 for a dressed up 870 Express when they could buy an 870 Police for $675.

That shotgun isn’t very “tactical” anyway, the LOP on that stock is ridiculously long.

  • singleactionguy

To each his own, but a used 870 wingmaster in good condition and an extra 18″ barrel is a tad more than half the cost with twice the reliability and style of this “exclusive.”

“Pistol grip pump on my lap at all times
Pistol grip pump on my lap at all times
Pistol grip pump on my lap at all times…”

Oh, Sorry… I was having flash-backs of my pre-Law Enforcement days.

    • Nicks87

Wow, only three people got that obscure reference?

Rage Against The Machine did a remake of the song in 2000 if that helps.

  • Netforce

It looks like a combination of Tommy Gun and pump shotgun.

  • will416-9

Give me a regular 870,not this “exclusive.” I’ll take an off the shelf 870. I’m a fan of foregrips on rifles, but not on shotguns.
