Modern Ammo Pouches for the M1 Garand

Kit Up has reviewed a modern mole-compatible ammo pouch designed to hold M1 Garand en-bloc clips.

Matthew Cox writes

Olongapo Outfitters makes some of the best quality, M1 Garand clip pouches I’ve ever seen. That’s right. Gear for the Garand! If you’ve never looked down the sights of John C. Garand’s masterpiece, you’re missing out. I’ll never trade my M1, but I have never cared for Army surplus cartridge belts.

Olongapo’s clip pouches are made from 1000d Cordura and come in MultiCam, OD Green, Khaki, and Coyote Brown. They are available in two-clip and four-clip sections and come with Malice clips or ALICE clips. These pouches close with mil-spec snaps and feature pull tabs on the flaps for speed.

I got one of their mag carriers, Very well made gear Worth the money. But one small quirk is that there is a cigar stench in the thing that is off putting. The Guy should Spray some febreze while while packing his stuff up.

  • I have a couple of the “Grab n Go” bags. Very well made, and 100% worth the money. I need to get one for the Garand.

Whats next? MOLLE McKeever cartridge boxes?

    • somebody

how about a molle civil war/revolutionary war cartridge box for people with tactical muzzleloaders, they could even save weight by replacing the wood insert that holds the cartridges with a polymer one

Haha, sweet. Might actually pick up a few of these.

The Army ran out of M-14s, NOW M-1 EBR LOL just joking. But not bad to action shooters who cant afford a bunch of money for WW2 era cartridge belts.

I remember when the officer in charge read the order before he tacked it to the shade tree. “In order to become the modern fighting force our country needs in this time of war, all units will immediately make plans to transport US Government horses to the nearest depot. Any soldier who had never driven a motor vehicle will be given training at the soonest possible time.”

What are they mounted on in photo? Condor Battle Belt?

    • Neil

Nope, that’s not a Condor battle belt. What you are looking at in the picture is the Vtac Brokos belt. Here’s a link

  • Beautiful M1!!
