    While the colored shotshells are a nifty gimmick, shotgun shells are supposed to be a standard color so you can recognize the gauge at a glance.

      Since everyone makes 12 gauge in every color under the sun, no one has a “Standard anymote.And that standard never was never really in effect for any other shells but 20 gauge.

    Those days are long gone friend. I’ve never seen that idea in practice. But I have heard of them. Though i’m just in college so you’ve probably been around longer than I have.
